Built in 1981, this tower is Seventy-Five stories high, and is just shy of 3.5 football fields. Originally, it was going to be 80 stories high, but the Federal Aviation Administration limited the height to 75 stories high, as they believed that anything higher would be dangerous for air navigation. One of the most notable things about the JPMorgan Chase Tower is that it offers a spectacular birds eye view of Houston like no other publicly accessible area can. In order to access this view, you have to visit the Sky Lobby, which is on the 60th floor. Luckily for tourists, the Sky Lobby is open for public access during 9:00 am to 5:00 pm Monday through Friday.
