The
Museum of Fine Arts counts with 300.000 square feet of art exhibition display
in a beautiful facility ready to take you through an interesting day to enjoy
surrounded by beauty, creativity and culture.
The
museum operates from Tuesday to Wednesday from 10 am to 5 pm, Thursday from 10
am to 9 pm, Friday through Saturday from 10 am to 7 pm and Sundays from 12:15
pm to 7 pm. The Museum closes its doors on Mondays excepts for holidays and
remains close for Thanksgiving and Christmas Day.
Prices
for general admission go for $15 for adults, $10 for Seniors and Military,
$7.50 for College Students (showing ID) and Children (13-18) and free admission
for children (12 & under). Some price tickets may vary depending on
additional exhibits you may want to visit. And following the Houston cultural
tradition Thursdays the admission is also free for all public courtesy of
Shell. Also, Bank of America cardholders get one free general admission and if
you are planning to explore more of Houston attractions you can save much more
buying a Citi pass and getting with that a 48% discount in your admission
ticket.
There
is no reason for you not to visit the splendid Museum of Fine Arts that also
has the Lillie and Hugh Ray Cullen Sculpture Garden open daily from 9 am to 10
