Hobby Center for the Performing Arts

This fabulous and distinguish complex opened in 2002, is located in the heart of Downtown Houston presenting acclaimed shows and theatrical performances for its valuable audience becoming in a premiere first class place for entertainment in the city.

Its exquisite architecture seen through all the construction and two outstanding halls: Zilkha and Sarofim, bring to life the vision its architect had in his mind and was looking to accomplish and which was creating a facility where there is a show before the show.

The Hobby Center Office hours are Monday to Friday from 10 am to 6 pm and Saturday to Sunday from 11 am to 4 pm. Plan your visit ahead, and if you are short on time just look for a show of your interest and get your tickets online then just worry to wear something nice and comfortable and maybe grabbing a bite before your show in one of the various places offered inside the building. Just remember! The tickets held in your name must be picked up 90 minutes prior to the show.

If you are coming by car you have different parking options going from $12 for general garage parking service up to $25 for valet parking. You can also get there by metro bus and taxi, just take in consideration to make a reservation with time and after the show you can ask one of the captains, the ones in the blue jackets, to assist you with a taxi.
